George J. Baddour (1910-1984) enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 15, 1942. He attended basic training at Camp Forrest, Tennessee, and was assigned to the signal corps as a specialty clerk. He served overseas for two years, seven months, eight days. His duty included the South Pacific and Philippines liberation campaigns. His highest rank held was staff sergeant. George was discharged on November 23, 1945.
