This picture, submitted by Mrs. Betty Strickland Townsend, was taken in March 1949 of Dorothy Delashmit’s 5-8 grade class at Solo School. Townsend and her brothers Harold and Charles were in Delashmit’s class and their younger sister Imogene was in the 1-4th grade class. Identified students were front row, second from left, Betty Strickland, 11, fifth from left 13-year old Harold Strickland and in the middle of the back row is 15-year old Charles Strickland and Jerry Hill is the last boy in the back row.
