Henry L. Billings was drafted on December 1, 1966. He attended Officer Candidate School and graduated on December 4, 1967. Henry served two years as a platoon leader and company commander with the 199th Light Infantry Battalion, one year as a battalion senior advisor with advisory team 75, MACV; out of Tre City, Kier Hoa province. This photo was taken at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he served as commanding officer of a-6-2 basic training company. He was released from active duty on September 5, 1973.
