Joseph Harry Yarbrough enlisted in the U. S. Air Force on September 7, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended radar operators’ school at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi. Assigned to Headquarters, Air Force Armament Center, Harry was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant (tech) on April 24, 1952, at Eglin AFB, Destin, Florida.
