Milton J. Branch was inducted into the U.S. Army on November 23, 1943 at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. His decorations and citations include: the Purple Heart Medal; the World War II Victory Ribbon; the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with three bronze service stars; the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one bronze star and one Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged on February 5, 1946, from Camp Chaffee, Arkansas.
