Robert Littleton Ellis entered the U. S. Navy on February 2, 1944. He trained at Bainbridge, Maryland for six-weeks then boarded a transport ship in Boston, Mass. Robert served in the Pacific as a Motor Machinist Mate Third Class for one year, 10 months and 17 days. He was honorably discharged on December 12, 1945 at the U. S. Naval Personnel Separation Center, Memphis, Tennessee.
