John C. Chisolm entered the U. S. Army from Brighton, Tennessee on November 30, 1942, attended two months basic training than spent 34 months as a medical lab technician after training at Fitzsimmons General Hospital, Denver, Colorado. His awards included the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was discharged at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana on November 11, 1945.
