William Ralph Arthur

William Ralph Arthur was inducted into the U. S. Army on January 17, 1952. Processed at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, he received basic training and attended NCO leadership school at Camp Pickett, Virginia. William was then transferred to medical field service school at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas and there served as cadre (drill instructor) for the remainder of his tour. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Ribbon. William was honorably discharged on January 16, 1954.
